Macam tak caya je, on the very morning of eid, I was admitted to the hospital. On seeing me, the surgeon who was treating me quickly greet,” eid mubarak, but not a lovely place to be at this moment”… Anyway, alhamdulillah, i was so glad i have my family by my side throughout the day. And for those of you who were asking, thanks, I’m much better now but i think it’ll be no open house this year :(.

I’ve got so much that i’ve plan to write in here whilst in bed, but seems forgotten now what they were. Anyway, just wanted to say have a lovely eid, and how sorry i am for all my past mistakes. Sincere apologies.

This bunga api show (or raya bonfire as Adam say it) was carried out in our messy garden (because of autumn leaves) by Adam and his baba and a group of students (1st years boys mainly, from the manchester uni, who was ‘rindu sangat kat mak bapak so nak manja dgn kakak dan abg sini’…) Adam was so excited with the firework, and we think we ought to show him how raya is suppose to be celebrated in malaysia when we were small, that we decided to go ‘home’ next raya insya-Allah.

The night before raya, Adam and Adela were scrubbed top-bottom so that they will shine (dah lama sangat tak mandi bebudak nih.. huhu sejuk)

The next day, Adela wore her first baju kurung ever and does’nt she look like a proper anak melayu.. hehe..

On saturday, the malaysians in manchester held a raya event, so we had our satay, nasi empet (God knows how long i’ve longed to eat the proper ketupat, it has always been nasik empet for us,.. huhu :{ ) . Although i was so much in pain, i told my husband that i dont want to be left alone at home, feeling sad and depressed whilst everody else is having the time of their life, i just dragged myself to the raya gathering and just grin and bear the pain… and so glad that i did.

Throughout the ramadhan, Adam was brilliant. He managed to fast for the complete full day for 9 days (i only achieved my first complete day when i was 8 years old, could’nt resist the temptation of bau of my mum’s kueh) and for the rest of ramadhan he managed to fast half day. This is so respectable considering he is the only muslim in his school and he told his teachers and friends that he was fasting and that he is JUST still only 5 years old. Bless him. … Thus this hadiah raya for both Adam and Adela for being such brilliant kids. (can you guess what is inside? no hadiah for correct answer though)

I’ve got to stop now. Got to tend to my children. And again,….. EID MUBARAK, taqabbalaLLah hu minna wa minkum, may Allah accept all of our deeds and forgive us for all of our sins insya-Allah.
